Its seems that Phadera Parks has become an unwilling victim of her recent publicity success of her husband . The attorney for for author Angela Stanton, has asked a has asked a Gwinnett County judge to rule in favor of his client in the matter of Phaedra C. Parks vs. Angela Stanton. Radford cites the fact that Parks, an attorney herself, has refused to sit for a deposition to show evidence that Stanton defamed the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member in her book, Lies of a Real Housewife.
Radford is also asking the court to order Parks to pay Stanton’s attorney’s fees..
I have received numerous inquiries about this motion today. Rather than comment on it, I am publishing it here. I’d prefer to let the pleading speak for itself. In sum, we are seeking summary judgment in favor of Angela Stanton, against Phaedra Parks, on defamation claims asserted by Ms. Parks. All the evidence that has been developed in this case points to the truth of Ms. Stanton’s book, Lies of Real Housewife, and Ms. Parks has failed to put on any evidence to support her claims. Ms. Parks has not sat for her own deposition. We are also seeking sanctions in the form of attorneys fees due to what we believe to be frivolous litigation.

During his trial, Pastor Davis was accused by several different women of exposing them to HIV. Davis denied the allegations and claimed that his crack use was the reason why his HIV test returned with a positive result.
Davis was eventually convicted of having reckless unprotected sex without informing his partners of his status. Shortly before being sentenced, Davis finally admitted to having unprotected sex with the women and asked the court for mercy.
In addition to his ten year sentence, he will be on probation for an additional ten years. Before Davis was sentenced, one of his victims spoke out and said she will have to live with a life sentence of being HIV-positive. – Rolling Out

Justin Bieber has been rumored to be returning back to Atlanta, permanently.. However, a new “Protest Justin Bieber Moving to Buckhead” Facebook page has been started by the Buckhead Neighborhood Coalition.
Justin Bieber has been getting extra attention from the police while renting out an Atlanta mansion resembling a spaceship.
The 19-year-old Canadian pop star recently started renting the futuristic-looking four-bedroom, 5,500-square-feet house owned by Atlanta producer Dallas Austin.
Extra officers from the Sandy Springs Police Department that patrols the area where Bieber is living have been driving past the home multiple times to prevent loitering and trespassing.
“As a community here in Buckhead, we have worked hard to achieve our goals and get to where we are,” its mission statement says. “- Coalition statement
Justin Bieber’s relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children, as well as the community. Some can’t even let their children play in the driveway without fear; he has raced vehicles under the influence before. What’s to say he won’t do it again?
As a homeowner down the street from this residence, one can assume many people will be contacting real estate agents soon enough. Please do not allow a child to ruin what we have worked so hard to obtain. Thanks for the support!”
MADD FACTOR: Is the Buckhead collation acting like snubs?
It seems that the verdict of the recent Michael Dunn trial didn’t sit well for some of the jurors. One of the 2 black female jurors on the Michael Dunn jury has spoken out on whether racism was a factor in the jury deliberations.
Over the past two years, Florida has been in the spot light for it’s shocking verdicts on “Stand Your Ground Law”. Many states have implemented this law, however Florida is the stand out state for its apparent unfair rulings, and jury verdicts on judicial decisions.
The Michael Dunn verdict on Saturday – where the white, 47-year-old software engineer was found guilty on attempted murder charges, but not on a first-degree murder charge for killing a 17-year-old black youth, Jordan Davis of Atlanta – has once again put the issue of armed self-defense firmly in society’s crosshairs.
The hung jury on the main murder charge came seven months after George Zimmerman, a half-Caucasian, half-Hispanic neighborhood watch captain was found not guilty in a murder trial for killing Trayvon Martin, another black 17-year-old who, like, Jordan Davis, was not armed. Social media was outraged with the recent verdict, as a second African american male was not given justice. A recent interview on CNN Anchor Don Lemon with Holly Hughes shed some light on the comparison in the law…
In both the Dunn and Zimmerman trial, their defense lawyers did not invoke Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law in their criminal trials, but his “justifiable use” of deadly force, as defined by state courts, which likely played a role in the jurors’ decision not to convict on the specific murder charges presented by the prosecution.
This same defense has been utilized in African Americans, which often result in a 25 year sentence. A former U.S. airman is currently sitting in a Florida prison for what his supporters argue was a simple act of self-defense.
In the spring of 2010, 26-year-old Michael Giles was on active duty with the Unites States Air Force and stationed in Tampa. The married father of three had recently finished two tours in the Middle East and was looking forward to a career in the military, says his family. One night in February, a friend invited Giles to party at a Tallahassee nightclub. Shorty after arriving, a fight broke out among members of fraternities from nearby Florida A&M University.
According to court documents, an argument quickly escalated into a brawl involving 30 to 40 young men.
Giles reportedly was not involved in the melee but, separated from his friends, went outside to the car where he had a gun, for which he had a concealed carry permit. Giles put the weapon in his pants pocket and searched the crowd for his friends. Suddenly, he says, someone from the crowd punched him. Knocked to the ground and in fear for his life, Giles says he pulled out the gun and fired one shot into the leg of his alleged attacker.
Three men were injured, wounded by bullet fragments. Giles was immediately arrested and charged with second-degree attempted murder.
IS THE LAW WORKING?
Raw story reported:Republican Florida state Rep. Matt Gaetz told CNN on Monday that his state’s so-called Stand Your Ground law was working for African-Americans even though he thought it had been wrongly used to find Michael Dunn not guilty of murdering 17-year-old Jordan Davis.
“I don’t think anyone is going to nominate George Zimmerman or Michael Dunn for person of the year,” Gaetz explained to CNN host Carol Costello. “But I think, overall, the Stand Your Ground law has worked for the state of Florida. If you look at the five years preceding Stand Your Ground’s passage, the murder rate was on the rise Florida every year. Since we passed Stand Your Ground, the murder rate had declined every year.”-
Are there other states that have the “Stand the Ground Law”?
The Huffington Post recently reported about the growing number of states which have implemented the “Stand Your Ground Law”. The law is growing as violence, and home invasion have increased over the past decade.

Jamaica is known throughout the world for it’s intolerance towards the LGBT community. A recently released documentary has provided a platform for numerous homosexual sex workers in Jamaica to speak about their lifestyle. In 2013, Dwayne Jones a gay teen, was brutally murdered by an angry mob, after he attended a party dressed as a woman, in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
FOR SOME strange reason we have concluded that retaining the buggery law can prevent people from being born homosexual. On top of that, we want nothing to do with homosexuality but talk about it, usually expressing disparage, at every waking moment in songs, political speeches, and sermons.-Jaevion Nelson- Jamaica Gleaner
Nelson also shared in Jamaica, your (gay or lesbian) sexual orientation is an axis on which grave discrimination and even violence occurs but the common place homophobia is often denied. There are many prominent homosexuals in key positions in Jamaica. The contributions of the LGBT community on Jamaica is over looked, and may set Jamaica back by decades.
“We must commit to rebuild this great nation on the principle of understanding ourselves and fellow men and women. Each of us should invest in promoting equality … Gay or straight, Christian or non-Christian, JLP or PNP, let us use our talents and resources for the betterment of our country.”-JFLAG
The apathy towards homosexual people in Jamaica, is often the blunt of many jokes, and serious discussions with international media. This discussion about Jamaican’s behavior has been in the spotlight including the BBC and Oprah Winfrey show.
In the recent documentary, the many homosexuals they highlight why they made some of their life choices and share frightening experiences they have had in the past.
It is a taboo to be gay and living in Jamaica. Gay persons in particular face legal and social issues not experienced by heterosexuals.
Sexual acts between men are punishable with up to ten years imprisonment.
MADD FACTOR: The following information are laws on homosexual conduct in Jamaica;
he Offences Against the Person Act (OAPA) provides as follows:
Section 76. Unnatural crime. Whosoever shall be convicted of the abominable crime of buggery … shall be liable to be imprisoned and kept to hard labour for a term not exceeding ten years.

Rihanna says her accountant made so many boneheaded decisions that he blew her fortune and she was “effectively bankrupt” by the end of 2009.
The singer claims in new legal docs she had $11 MILLION in cash at the beginning of 2009. Rihanna says the accountant was not on the ball and she was horrified to learn at the end of the year she had $2 million left. To make matters worse, her expenses doubled, which left her on a financial cliff.
As for how Rihanna blew through $9 million in one year … she says her accountant gave her the green light to buy a house priced between $7 and 7 1/2 million. So she took his advice. She ultimately sold the house for a $2 million LOSS.
She also claims her 2009 tour — Last Girl on Earth Tour — was losing money but the accountant never gave her the heads up.

Will Packer Producer of the “About Last Night”, while at an advanced screening in Atlanta, discuss that the original movie script was not targeted to an African American cast. This is the biggest spin on the 1986 film, opening on February 14, 2014.
Kevin Hart star of the latest block buster Ride Along, says that the racial switch “Changes Nothing”. The movie sure does not disappoint, no matter your race or creed, the movie’s universal message of love is conveyed throughout the film.
“We’re still telling a universal story about the ups and downs of dating,” Hart says — though the 21st century version updates romance to include modern staples like sexting, hookup apps and friends with benefits.- Kevin Hart
Michael Ealy and Joy Bryant are a dynamic duo on camera, anyone can easily connect with the couple, hard working guy, and a professional woman seeking the same thing. Love! The movie is not only romantic but also very funny. This is a date night, me time, make you want to relax type film. This can be a second blockbuster for Kevin Hart and Producer Will Packer in less than a month! This is an adult film with some funny, but PG needed throughout, it’s great for the love of your life.
MADD FACTOR: This is a must see film, which is far from the regular mundane Hollywood film. The tradition casting for this would have been missed or over looked by an entire generation, which is now diverse, especially with their relationships. It’s a great remake, and just a great fun!
Jam Rock Magazine reports: The way we learn history shapes how we think about the present and the future. Consider what most Americans know about Rosa Parks, who was born 101 years ago, on February 4, 1913.
In the popular legend, Parks is portrayed as a tired middle-aged seamstress in Montgomery, Alabama, who, at the spur of the moment after a hard day at work, decided to resist the city’s segregation law by refusing to move to the back of the bus on December 1, 1955. She is typically revered as a selfless individual who, with one spontaneous act of courage, triggered the bus boycott and became, as she is often called, “the mother of the civil rights movement.”
That popular legend is misleading. Parks’ defiance of Montgomery’s segregation laws was not an isolated incident. It was part of a lifelong crusade to dismantle Jim Crow. She was a veteran activist and part of a local movement whose leaders had been waiting for the right moment to launch a campaign against bus segregation.
In hindsight, it may appear that the boycott’s success was inevitable. In fact, its effectiveness was the result of the Montgomery leaders’ decisions about tactics and strategies and their capacity to mobilize thousands of ordinary people in a complex, year-long grassroots challenge to the city’s political and economic establishment.
Parks’ fierce determination to challenge racism was part of her upbringing. She recalled, “I had almost a life history of being rebellious against being mistreated because of my color.” Discussing her grandfather, Sylvester Edwards, she wrote, “I remember that sometimes he would call white men by their first names, or their whole names, and not say, ‘Mister.’ How he survived doing all those kinds of things, and being so outspoken, talking that big talk, I don’t know, unless it was because he was so white and so close to being one of them.”
In the 1930s, she and her husband, Raymond Parks, a barber, raised money for the defense of the Scottsboro Boys, nine young, black men falsely accused of raping two white women. Involvement in this controversial cause was extremely dangerous for southern blacks. In 1943, Parks became one of the first women to join the Montgomery chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). In the 1940s and 1950s, the NAACP was considered a radical organization by most southern whites, especially politicians and police officials. Joining the NAACP put its members at risk of losing jobs and being subject to vigilante violence.
In 1943, Parks made her first attempt to register to vote. Twice she was told she didn’t pass the literacy test, which was a Jim Crow invention to keep blacks from voting. In 1945, she passed the test and became one of the few blacks able to exercise the “right” to vote. She served for many years as the NAACP chapter secretary and director of its youth group. As NAACP youth director, Parks helped black teenagers organize protests at the city’s segregated main public library because the library for blacks had fewer (and more outdated) books, but blacks were not allowed to study at the main branch or browse through its stacks.
The Drama unfolds .. A defiant Apollo Nida has been spotted around town still balling out of control. A source at a popular down south eatery, shared with me that Apollo Nida has not only been in contact with the woman that have been accusing him of fraud, but have met with her multiple times in the past, although he denies even knowing her.
The shocker is that Apollo Nida is a Baller indeed, with a private condo in Midtown Atlanta, far from his home with Phadera Parks and two kids. The Juice gets Sweeter….
It seems that Apollo states that the whole investigation and story, is just to boost ratings for the Bravo show Real Housewives of Atlanta. Another major rumor of additional RHOA cast members are also involved in the elaborate scam .
Peter Bailey shares a NiteCap with Redskins star wide receiver at his annual Dare 2 Dream weekend where the veteran wide out discussed the pressures facing RGIII, Super Bowl champion.
Santana Moss recently sat down with journalist Peter Bailey to discuss RGIII and black quarter backs. Nite Cap with Peter Bailey is described by the show’s site as a “hub for insight into what truly matters in our society by offering soulful and introspective reportage that redefines who we are by humanizing today’s stories and news makers.” Much of the conversation was about the future of black youth athletes, but the host did ask Moss why Robert Griffin III was under so much pressure this past season.
