Jared Fogle’s Ex-Wife Sues Subway-Claims Subway Knew He was a Pedophile

Jared Fogle

Jared FogleFormer Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle’s ex-wife says the company knew Jared was a pedophile more than a decade before he was arrested. Now she’s suing. We are not sure on what grounds that she can receive compensation from this matter, however she is going to try…

Story Details via TMZ:

Kathleen McLaughlin says in new legal docs — obtained by TMZ — back in 2004, a senior exec at Subway received a complaint that Fogle had approached a young girl at a Vegas promotional event and solicited a sex act.

The lawsuit claims the company received at least 2 other complaints over the years.

As for why Kathleen is suing … she says Subway made a decision in 2015 to market Jared as a family man, using her and their 2 children’s likeness in an animated commercial … knowing that there was a cloud over him.

Kathleen claims the ad — which aired 2,309 times — has caused her and the kids great damage.

She also says had Subway reported Jared back in 2004, she never would have tied the knot in 2010.

We reached out to Subway … so far no word back.

911 Dispatcher Faces Additional Charges for Hanging Up on Callers Charges

911 dispatcher

911 dispatcherA former 911 dispatcher in Houston was recently arrested for allegedly hanging up on callers, and officials suspect she hung up on thousands of calls over a six-month period.

Crenshanda Williams, 43, said she frequently ended calls if she didn’t feel like talking and in one instance repeatedly hung up on someone reporting a fatal armed robbery, police allege.

An investigation into Williams was launched in April after her supervisors discovered a large number of the calls she had handled that lasted less than 20 seconds, according to charging documents obtained by PEOPLE.

After analyzing the Houston Emergency Center database, detectives learned that “thousands of short calls [had] been attributed to the defendant” between October 2015 and March 2016.

When questioned about the short calls, Williams allegedly told Houston police that she often disconnected calls if she wasn’t in the mood to talk. City officials tell PEOPLE she was fired on Aug. 4.

Williams was arrested on Oct. 4 and charged with two counts of misdemeanor interference with an emergency telephone call, charging documents show. She was released on bond.

PEOPLE was not immediately able to reach Williams for comment, and she does not yet have an attorney. She is expected to appear in court next week to enter a plea to her charges.
