Lamar Odom nearly lost his life after he suffered a drug overdose in a Nevada brothel earlier this year, which resulted in a coma and multiple strokes. Thankfully, Odom survived the ordeal and is on the road to recovery. However, the hospital bills are piling up!
According to RadarOnline, sources say Odom has already racked up a $750K medical bill this year. However, they say that his debt could multiply drastically by the time he’s through with the extensive treatment and rehabilitation that he needs to fully recover.
“By the end of the year, he’ll have easily made at least a $10M dent in his $55M fortune,” an insider told Radar. “There’s no end in sight and he’s completely unaware of what’s going on.”
As previously reported, Khloe Kardashian halted her divorce with Odom and rushed to his side to handle his medical care after his overdose. However, the source claims that his family is worried that Kardashian’s decisions will leave Odom in a financial hole.
“Khloe’s managing most of it, but to her money’s no object and she’s signing him up for the best treatments money can buy,” the source said. “The fact they’re still only married in name has everyone on Lamar’s side freaking out because they know he’s going to be left with all these bills when she finally kicks him out.”
Despite the threat of a crippling debt, the source claims that Odom has no other medical alternatives.
“He needs this treatment,” the source said. “It’s what saved his life – but who’s going to pay for it all is going to cause some legal hell down the line.”
The beautiful Serena Williams is named 2015’s Sportsperson of the Year by Sports Illustrated magazine. The tennis champion had a phenomenal year in 2015. Williams hit this rare sweet spot, a pinch-me patch where the exotic became the norm.
She spent a night telling bedtime stories to the children of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg. Growing up, Williams had devoured every Harry Potter book, marveled at the business empires of Oprah Winfrey and Martha Stewart. Now J.K. Rowling was tweeting against a critic of Williams’s body, Oprah was hustling to watch her at the U.S. Open, and Stewart was calling Williams “the most powerful woman I know.” President Barack Obama, the most scrutinized man alive, told her how great it was to watch her.
Even Williams’s most dubious moves paid off. In July, just as her drive for tennis’s first Grand Slam in 27 years hit the bell lap, she appeared in Pixels, a comedic bomb in which she anticipated a Lincoln Bedroom sex sandwich with Stewart and Peter Dinklage. Yet she escaped critical savaging, and, oh, the movie grossed $243 million. Williams’s decision to chase down a cellphone thief in New York seemed equally foolhardy—until, that is, the guy gave her phone back.
Williams, 34, won three major titles, went 53–3 and provided at least one new measure of her tyrannical three-year reign at No. 1. For six weeks this summer—and for the first time in the 40-year history of the WTA rankings—Williams amassed twice as many ranking points as the world No. 2; at one point that gap grew larger than the one between No. 2 and No. 1,000. Williams’s 21 career Grand Slam singles titles are just one short of Steffi Graf’s Open-era record. Such numbers are reason enough for Sports Illustrated to name Serena Williams its 2015 Sportsperson of the Year.

NEW YORK, United States (AFP) — Serena Williams chased down a would-be telephone thief at a Chinese restaurant that had the 34-year-old American tennis star comparing herself to Supergirl.
The 21-time Grand Slam singles champion detailed her adventure Wednesday in a Facebook posting complete with her wearing a Supergirl outfit and sending a message for people to channel their inner superhero.
And another message was clear — mess with Serena Williams at your own peril.
“Soooooo yesterday (Tuesday) at dinner the CRAZIEST THING happened to me. I was sitting enjoying some Chinese food and this guy stands next to me,” world number one Williams said.
“And something (I have now dubbed it my SUPERHERO sense) told me to watch him. My phone was sitting in the chair but I just didn’t feel right.
“Low and behold, this common petty thief grabbed my phone and swiftly left. I looked at the chair, than shouted ‘Omg that dude took my phone!!'”
“Not thinking I reacted, I jumped up, weaved my way in and out of the restaurant and chased him down. He began to run but I was too fast. I was upon him in a flash!
“In the most menacing yet calm no nonsense voice I could muster I kindly asked him if he ‘accidentally’ took the wrong phone. While he was thinking of the right thing to say and eventually he said ‘Gosh you know what I did! It was so confusing in there. I must have grabbed the wrong phone’.”
The matter left Williams pondering her own super powers.
“Superhero? Maybe? Or HELL YEA!!” Williams said. “I’ve got the speed the jumps, the power, the body, the seduction, the sex appeal, the strength, the leadership and yet the calm to weather the storm. Always listen to your superhero inner voice. Fight for what’s right. Stand for what you believe in! Be a superhero!
“When I got back into the restaurant I received a standing ovation. I was proud. I just showed every man in there I can stand up to bully’s (sted) and other men. It was a win for the ladies! Just because you are a lady don’t be afraid to step up to any challenge and not be a victim but a hero!”
Williams has not played since losing a US Open semi-final to Italy’s Roberta Vinci, costing her a chance at a calendar year Grand Slam.

It seems that Khloe Kardashian called off her divorce to partially paralyzed former NBA player, Lamar Odom.
The 35-year-old ex LA Laker is in a LA hospital recovering from a drug overdose. He requires round-the-clock care after suffering several strokes at a Las Vegas hospital last week. He is unable to walk or talk.
Khloe and Lamar had a pending divorce which was originally signed by both parties, however the Kardashian’s attorney went down to the courthouse with a document signed by both Khloe and Odom, to dismiss the divorce action.
Just a month ago, Khole was considering filing a restraining order against her estranged husband. After texting him her location last month, she and her show’s producers ambushed the bewildered NBA star when he showed up.
Within hours, the story was splashed across the front page of gossip tabloid TMZ, and the ambush became a storyline on the Kardashians reality show. Like a typical fame hungry reality stars, the Kardashian clan sees dollar signs in Odom’s current situation.
Since his recent drug overdose, Odom is worth more to the Kardashian’s in terms of television ratings than he was before.
Odom had previously begged Kartrashian to stop exploiting him for a storyline on her reality TV show. Reports say that a new reality show featured Odom and Khole will feature his recovery and rehab in the next months.
Question: Did he really sign the documents to stop the divorce?
The owner of the Nevada brothel where Lamar Odom was found unconscious says Khloe Kardashian’s publicist has asked him to stop speaking to the media — a request that made him furious. Continue reading “Shouts Fired Friday: Brothel Owner Fired Back at Kardashians”
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are still married, and she is making medical decisions as Lamar lies in a coma. Lamar Omon was found unresponsive on Tuesday October 13, 2015.
TMZ broke the story, last July Khloe and Lamar both belatedly signed the necessary documents to end their marriage. As we reported, Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013, but let it sit for more than a year and a half, in part because she wanted to save the marriage.
Although they signed the final divorce docs, we’ve learned there’s an extreme backlog in the family law courts and the divorce will not become final for at least 2 more months.
Since they are still husband and wife, Khloe is in a position to make medical decisions for her husband, and we’re told she has already made several of them.
Khloe arrived at the hospital Tuesday night, hours after Lamar was admitted.
Reverend Jesse Jackson told reporters that he visited Lamar Odom at the Nevada hospital where he is being treated after being found unconscious Tuesday at a Nevada brothel. Khloe Kardashian, Odom’s ex-wife, was also at Odom’s side, according to Jackson
Jackson also said he heard that Kobe Bryant, Odom’s former Los Angeles Lakers teammate, visited the hospital last night.

Floyd Mayweather‘s pricey car collection has shrunk by 4. A trailer transporting Floyd’s Bentley and 2 Rolls Royce whips burned down to the ground …
The New York Police Department commissioner apologized on Thursday for the mistaken arrest of James Blake, a retired top-10 professional tennis player, who said he was slammed to the ground outside his hotel in Midtown Manhattan after being confused for a suspect in a credit card fraud investigation.
While waiting for his car service, Blake noticed a man in plain clothes charging at him. For a split second, Blake thought it was a fan or possibly someone he knew in the past.
Blake was tackled by the guy and slammed to the pavement. Without asking any questions, the man told Blake to remain quiet. Blake realized the man was a cop only after several other officers surrounded him on the street as he was being handcuffed. The former tennis star asked why he was being apprehended, but the officers never gave him an answer as to why he was being detained.
Blake, who suffered several bruises including a swollen eye, was in cuffs for about one minute before one officer recognized him. He was eventually allowed to leave. The officer who initially slammed Blake to the ground never apologized for his actions.
The commissioner, William J. Bratton, said he had been trying to contact Mr. Blake, who is biracial, “to extend my apologies for the incident which he found himself involved in yesterday.”
The undercover detective who detained Mr. Blake has been stripped of his gun and badge and placed on desk duty, a tacit acknowledgment that video of the arrest raised serious questions about his actions.
Mr. Bratton, speaking at a news conference on Thursday, said he had concerns about “the inappropriateness of the amount of force that was used during the arrest.” An initial review of video evidence of the arrest, he said, led him to believe that it may have been excessive.
Mr. Bratton said the team of six undercover detectives involved in detaining Mr. Blake — all of whom were white — failed to report the incident, a breach of department practices.
Michael Jordan was awarded $8.9 million by a federal court in Chicago this week, after a popular supermarket chain (owned by Safeway), Dominick’s, used his name and likeness in an advertisement for steak in 2009.
Prior to proceedings, the court had already decided Dominick’s was liable for using Jordan’s name and likeness to pimp their meat. The proceedings that just wrapped up were solely to decide how much Jordan was owed for the unauthorized ad; taking into consideration that the ad ran in a commemorative issue of Sports Illustrated and only two customers redeemed the $2 steak coupon. The grocery store’s lawyers insisted that $126,900 would be fair compensation, but Jordan wanted more.

(Reuters) – Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been stripped of the welterweight world title he won after beating Filipino Manny Pacquiao this year for failing to comply with rules, the World Boxing Organization said on Monday.
The flamboyant boxer, who improved to 48-0 by beating Pacquiao in May, missed a deadline by which he had to pay a $200,000 sanctioning fee from the fight and vacate the junior middleweight title he also held, the WBO said in a statement.
The requirement set forth by the WBO, states that he could not hold two world titles in multiple weight classes and that Mayweather had to indicate which weight division he would retain.
Mayweather, who finished ahead on all three scorecards of what proved to be the top-grossing prize fight of all-time, had until 4:30 p.m. ET last Friday to advise the WBO of his position.
“The WBO World Championship Committee is allowed no other alternative but to cease to recognize Mr. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. as the WBO Welterweight Champion of the World and vacate his title, for failing to comply with our WBO Regulations of World Championship Contests,” the WBO said in a statement.
Mayweather, who earned over $200 million from the fight which generated a record pay-per-view revenue in the United States of $400 million, has two weeks to launch an appeal.

NBA superstar Lebron James has officially announced his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He issued a lengthy statement to Sports Illustrated explaining his decision. The news that the Cavaliers had emerged as a frontrunner to sign James came as a shock to many, because Cleveland owner Dan Gilbert blasted the superstar so angrily in a letter that was posted on the Cavaliers website shortly after James signed with the Miami Heat in 2010.
But James says this is about home and family and fans–not owners and rosters.
Remember when I was sitting up there at the Boys & Girls Club in 2010? I was thinking, This is really tough. I could feel it. I was leaving something I had spent a long time creating. If I had to do it all over again, I’d obviously do things differently, but I’d still have left. Miami, for me, has been almost like college for other kids. These past four years helped raise me into who I am. I became a better player and a better man. I learned from a franchise that had been where I wanted to go. I will always think of Miami as my second home. Without the experiences I had there, I wouldn’t be able to do what I’m doing today.
I went to Miami because of D-Wade and CB. We made sacrifices to keep UD. I loved becoming a big bro to Rio. I believed we could do something magical if we came together. And that’s exactly what we did! The hardest thing to leave is what I built with those guys. I’ve talked to some of them and will talk to others. Nothing will ever change what we accomplished. We are brothers for life. I also want to thank Micky Arison and Pat Riley for giving me an amazing four years.
The Miami Heat have fallen short of the NBA title for the second time in four years, leaving them at an uncertain crossroads this off season, with the looming threat of LeBron James bolting in free agency hanging over the franchise.
Howard Beck joins Adam Lefkoe to give his take in the video above.
This will be career suicide for Lebron James, at this time. The Miami Heat won two NBA Championships in a row and have made it to the finals 4 times in a row. The work ethic of the team is through the roof , and will allow them to continue to win further championships.
Madd Factor: Lebron James need to stay in Miami! The NBA needs the success of the Miami Heat. The ratings and ticket sales to the Miami Heat has triple over the past 4 years. My recommendation for Lebron James is to stay in Miami! Go to the beach, Relax! Come Back next year and win!..Hopefully the Heat is not playing against the Spurs, that will not end to well.#spursnation #miamiheat
On Tuesday, the Spurs returned to the location of their greatest heartbreak, where the Miami Heat snatched away what they felt should’ve been a fifth NBA championship with two crushing wins. San Antonio was able to move on from those miserable memories with a few three-pointers and dunks byKawhi Leonard, some unlikely runners by Danny Green, and a record-breaking shooting performance that resulted in a redemptive annihilation.
The Spurs will never be able to go back in time and make up for that disappointment, but they at least took a step toward getting the job done this season with a 111-92 victory that put them ahead two games to one in this best-of-seven series.
They came in with a desperation that we just didn’t match,” LeBron James said of the Spurs.
The team that claims a 2-1 lead after the series was tied at one apiece has gone on to win the Finals 30 of the past 36 times. But the Heat is one of the teams that managed to complete the comeback and claim the championship, as it did last season.
The Spurs won the first game of the series with the benefit of a broken down air conditioning system that successfully “smoked out” James, who was unable to finish after developing leg cramps. In Game 3, San Antonio provided a different kind of oppressive heat, scorching the nets with a record-breaking first half in which it shot 86.7 percent in the first quarter and 75.8 percent in the first half, entering the locker room with a 21-point lead.
Leonard scored a game-high 29 points to lead five Spurs in double figures. Popovich made the first major adjustment of the series, replacing Tiago Splitter in the starting lineup with Boris Diaw. The doughy Diaw gave the Spurs another facilitator and a versatile forward capable of defending and scoring on the perimeter. Popovich complained about the ball “sticking” at times in the second half of Game 2, but the Spurs were able to jump all over the Heat with more space to operate and more ball movement
“That will never happen again,” Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich said. “I mean, that’s crazy.”
TO ALL THE HATERS…
CRAMPS? Is that the reason Lebron James look like he was not going to return to the NBA Finals?
Gatorade is making waves for mocking Powerade endorser LeBron James’ cramps during the Miami Heat’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs during Game 1 of the NBA Finals last night.
A malfunctioning air conditioning system drove temperatures to a steamy 90-plus degrees inside the Spurs’ home arena of AT&T Center in San Antonio Thursday night. No player was more impacted than King James. Due to continuing leg cramps, the four-time MVP pulled himself out of the game in the fourth quarter. The Spurs cruised on to a 110-95 victory.
As millions of TV viewers watched a cramping James sitting out with ice packs on his legs and neck, the fun began on Twitter.
Advertising Age reports:Gatorade has apologized for its remarks making fun of the Powerade endorser for getting cramps. “Our apologies for our response to fans’ tweets during last night’s Heat vs. Spurs game,” Gatorade said in a release. ”We got caught up in the heat of the battle. As a longtime partner of the Miami Heat, we support the entire team.”
Meanwhile, it seems like LeBron James was drinking Gatorade at the game in any case.
Former LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling, has sold the NBA team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for a whopping $2 billion.
Balimer outbid former NBA star Grant Hill, who offered $1 billion, and a group of wealthy business people that included Oprah Winfrey.
The sale was completed almost a month to the day after Donald Sterling was heard on an audio tape telling his ex-mistress not to bring black people to his games — especially NBA legend Magic Johnson.
As a result of the backlash, NBA commissioner Adam Silver hit Sterling with a lifetime ban, imposed a $2.5 million fine and ordered Sterling to sell the team.
Sterling’s estranged wife, Rochelle, negotiated the sale of the team.
