Barbadian superstar Rihanna ranks No. 10 on Forbes’ annual list of the top-earning women in music. Rihanna, who is 27, earned US$26 million in 2015, about half of what she earned last year, placing her at the No. 10 spot on the list.

Citing the reasons for Rihanna’s lower earnings, Forbes said that after seven albums in eight years through 2012, Rihanna has gone quite some time without a full-length release, and she only played nine dates during the magazine’s scoring period, which by the way, runs from the middle of 2014 to the middle of 2015 —resulting in a lower-than-usual finish on the top earners’ list.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry is No. 1 on Forbes’ 2015 list of the highest earning women in music.

Thanks to her Prismatic World Tour, which included 126 shows during Forbes’ scoring period, and deals with Coty, Claire’s and CoverGirl, Perry, 31, earned an estimated US$135 million from June 1, 2014, to June 1, 2015, to clinch the No. 1 spot, the financial magazine said.

In the No. 2 position is Taylor Swift, 25, who earned an estimated US$80 million following the launch of her widely successful pop album “1989” in October 2014, which has sold more than 3.6 million copies to date.

The iconic five-member band Fleetwood Mac is in third position, qualifying because they have two female members, Stevie Nicks and the returning Christine McVie. The band earned an estimated US$59.5 million, mainly from touring, clinching the No. 3 spot on the list, Forbes said.

Lady Gaga landed in the No. 4 spot with US$59 million, comprised of her 66 shows during the scoring period and deals with fashion house Versace, Mac cosmetics and profits from her Fame fragrance.

And rounding out the top five is Beyonce with US$54.5 million, courtesy of her On the Run Tour with hubby Jay Z. That tour grossed over $100 million during 19 show show dates in North America.

Sweet Potato Pie, walmart

Patti LaBelle‘s sweet potato pies are a hit across the nation. Customers report finding empty shelves at Walmart stores that carry the pies bearing LaBelle’s name.

So yesterday I had the opportunity to venture into a local WalMart to look for the Patti Labelle Pie.  —> They were all gone.

I spoke with a bakery representative, who stated that the pie where gone by 6:00a.m. That’s right 6:00 a.m. , there’s a long line at one location and no waiting list . #patti labelle  #walmart

YouTube star James Wright posted his ecstatic review of the pies while snacking on several of the pies. Wright hits high notes that LaBelle would admire as he sings Patti’s praises.

Wright’s review has racked up over 1 million views on his YouTube channel.

Patti Labelle  personally called James to than him for hi  review. Wal-Mart also called James to offer him a job in future advertisement.

Be careful eating sweet potato pies if you are diabetic or have high cholesterol.

Just ONE SLICE of sweet potato pie has nearly 400 calories and 25 grams of sugar — that’s equivalent to 6 teaspoons of sugar!

Dietitians advise consuming 25 grams of sugar per day. So eating 1 slice of sweet potato pie gives you your entire daily recommended sugar intake!

Keyshia Cole has IRS Problems

keshia

This is not a good  look for Keyshia Cole!

After her headlining tour in 2009 with the likes of TLCLil Kim and The-Dream, the singer failed to pay her taxes on that profitable year and now the federal government is demanding she pay it ASAP!

According to sources ther was a lien  last November, the government is claiming Keyshia owes a pretty little sum to the tune of $162,158.93 to the IRS!

We’re sure that’s probably not too much for the Heaven Sent singer, but it does look like the songstress shouldn’t have cheated the IRS, those people are ruthless!

We hope you get this all settled soon!
